I am Tom Doohan
Sligo Roofing Company is a roofing business that operates across Sligo & surrounding areas. We specialise in reroofing, roof repairs and chimney rebuilds. Sligo Roofing Company was established by Tom Doohan, a qualified carpenter/joiner. Before making his way into the roofing business, Tom worked for many years honing his skills in many aspects of roofing and restoration. It was his dream for many years to start his own business. Since 2014, Sligo Roofing Company has been building a reputation for excellent craftsmanship and outstanding efficiency. Tom has always been excellent at identifying and solving rook leaks.

Lovely cottage reroof completed in the last 2 weeks and what different a week can make, from melting 🫠 weather of the first weeks to the pissing rain of the last week, but we got there in the end, all old tiles removed, all rotten timber repaired and replaced, new installation and breathable membrane and treated battens, old concrete barge removed, all new @berona fibre slates on with pv panels, if this something you need or just a repair give us a call 😀🌞 🌧
What a Gorgeous house to work on, its been a pleasure from start to finish, I think its a first roof we have done with no rain at all, 🌞🌞🌞 very old roof on this one 200 years old and still going strong, we striped off old natural slates and replaced any damaged timber and fitted breathable membrane and treated battens new roof windows, old natural slates to the front and @laganbuildingsolutions Brazilian natural slates to the back, cleaned off old sand stone ridge caps and bedded back on, new @fatrauk single ply membrane to the flat roof we fitted 50mm battens and new osb to get ventilation in the cold roof, We are delighted with how it turned out, onto the next one 😀
Just some of the work we carried out in March, lots of wind and rain 🌧 we did get 2 nice days in centre parcs 😂 finally getting the garden beds started and we grew vegetables for the first time, 🤞 we will have loads of veg this summer, hoping for a better April weather forecast, 😀 lots done, loads more to do 💪

What a great year, very busy at work and got a few trips in between, lovely trips away in the caravan and got loads finished off at the house, off in Melbourne for Christmas so finished up early, Happy Christmas and new year, cant wait for 2026 🔥🔥🔥
